Application and Relevance
This course covers the performance of rescue procedures from an electrical supply industry (ESI) tower in the workplace. It specifies the mandatory requirements of rescue from an ESI tower and how they apply in the context of transmission, distribution or rail functions. It encompasses responsibilities for health safety and risk management processes at all levels and adherence to safety practices.
Course requirements
Number of Participants: Maximum 6 students per class
Participants must have completed Tower Rescue training within the past 2 years.
Students must have reasonable level of physical fitness due to the task requirements of this course.
Students must provide a valid email address and will receive a link to complete the enrolment process online. Enrolment must be completed prior to attending for training.
Students must provide a UNIQUE STUDENT IDENTIFIER (USI number) and ID.
Students are required to complete a Language, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy (LLND) Assessment as part of the enrolment process. This will assist in determining any support you may need to complete the course.
Students must have experience working in the Electrical Supply Industry
Materials and Equipment: All training materials are supplied by Zokal Safety Training. Students are required to wear a hard hat and gloves during practical components of this course. Please bring them with you on the day.
Meals: Full Day Courses – Lunch will be provided and light refreshments will be provided at morning break (only on our premises). Half Day Courses – Light refreshments will be provided at morning break (only on our premises)
Dress: Participants are required to wear clean clothing appropriate for the workplace and covered shoes.
Parking: There is no student parking at our training facility. Please allow additional time to find on street parking.
Students must provide a certified copy or USI transcript showing attainment of the units: UETDRMP020 Perform tower rescue and RIIWHS204E Work safely at heights (within the past 2 years) to be accepted for enrollment into this course.
Re-accreditation
Participants require refresher training annually in order to maintain satisfactory levels of emergency preparedness and participant competence.

Assessment Methods
This is a competency-based program with progressive assessment throughout the course, including written and oral questions relating to underpinning knowledge. Please let us know if there are any issues that your Zokal trainer should be aware of. These may include:

Award Issued
Nationally recognised accreditation such as a wallet card and Statement of Attainment Certificate for the units of competency will be issued on satisfactory completion of all assessments. Zokal Safety Training Pty Ltd RTO Code 9126.
